About our Curriculum
DWH programs are structured following The Royal Academy of Dance graded syllabus of progression. Our classes are designed to be stimulating, creative and fun for students of all ages and ability.
Ballet training begins with Creative Movement, "Move the Way You Feel" for children ages 21/2-3+, continuing next to a gentle Pre-Ballet and eventually achieving the level of an advanced dancer.
Classes also include training in CLASSICAL BALLET, PRE-POINTE, POINTE, FREE MOVEMENT, CHARACTER, CONTEMPORARY, LYRICAL, HIP-HOP, TAP, JAZZ, & MUSICAL THEATER to create a well-rounded dance education.
Whether dancing one day per week for sheer enjoyment, or five days for the more serious student, all will realize the satisfaction of becoming a knowledgeable, accomplished dancer.
Our goal and commitment is to provide the highest standard of dance education in a positive, nurturing environment. To allow students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and enjoy the challenge of acquiring new skills while growing in confidence.
