MICHELE DAVIS received her BA in Theatre and Dance from the University of New Hampshire. While at UNH Michele performed with the UNH Dance Company and the Seacoast Ballet, under the direction of Larry Robertson. As a young Dance Workshop of Hanover student and CDE dancer, she began her training in ballet, tap and jazz methods, later continuing with the Boston Ballet School and Ballet Theatre of Boston. Michele's professional performing career includes roles in such ballets as The Nutcracker and Alice in Wonderland, as well as many originally choreographed works with José Mateo's Ballet Theatre. Michele is also EEC certified and has been teaching dance to students of all ages over the past 16 years.
DENISE MENENDEZ is a graduate of Allentown College where she earned her BA in Dance. Her concentration has focused on the teaching methods for young children; creative movement, pre-ballet, jazz and tap through the elementary level programs. While at Allentown, she performed and choreographed for the College Touring Company and with the Act I Dance Ensemble. An experienced teacher and many years on staff with DWH, Denise has completed the teaching course of the Royal Academy of Dance and continues her training with ongoing studies in the Syllabus, particularly as it relates to the teaching methods of younger students. NICOLE PAVONE is a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo, earning her BA in Dance with a concentration in Jazz. Before moving to the Boston area, Nicole taught and choreographed dance for students of all ages in western New York. While in NY, she also performed for the Buffalo Infringement Showcase, the Emerging Choreographers Showcase and with Zodiaque Dance Company, as well as choreographing for their performances. Nicole has relocated to MA to perform as a company dancer with Urbanity Dance, and to keep her training current regularly takes classes with Promethius Dance, the Jeannette Neill Studios, and José Mateo's Ballet Theatre. LINDSEY PABST earned her BA in Dance and Psychology from Goucher College. While at Goucher she performed extensively with Goucher's dance company as well as in local productions of The Nutcracker Ballet. Lindsey began her training as a Dance Workshop of Hanover student, performing as a soloist with Childrens Dance Ensemble and with Ballet Theatre of Boston. She has studied with The American Academy of Ballet and has completed and passed her exams for The Royal Academy of Dance, London. Lindsey taught and choreographed for several studios in Maryland and California, as well as with DWH. Certified in Pilates, she has instructed privately, at studios, and for Goucher College. Lindsey has recently returned to MA where she continues to teach pilates and dance.
NICK PABST attended the Baltimore School For The Arts and received his Degree in Dance from Goucher College. His training has also included modern dance, as well as programs with Boston Ballet, The Rock School, and Ballet Divertimento. Through his professional career Nick performed with Ballet Austin, the Sacramento Ballet, as a guest artist, and had the opportunity to dance in China. He performed as a soloist in works by such choreographers as Ron Cunningham, Stephen Mills, Septime Webre, George Balanchine, and Twyla Tharp. With teaching credentials in Maryland and California, Nick now shares his knowledge here at DWH.
